Projects' Staff Weekly Obsession: Tim Walker.

The fashion photographers are taking over this week!

Tina is obsessing over the work from Mr. Tim Walker.

Tim Walker's photographs can be described as snapshots of a little girl's imagination or a page out of a fairy tale. The colors and atmosphere of the pictures are dreamy with his play on light and soft pastel colors. His pictures do more than just capture a of moment in time, they tell a whole story behind his eyes.

Tim Walker is a photographer based in London. Tim's interest in photography began while he was working for Conde Nast where he set up the Cecil Beaton archive. After graduating from Exeter Art College, he worked as a freelance photographic assistant before working as Richard Avedon's assistant in New York.

His career as a photographer was launched when he came in third in the Independent Young Photographer of the Year Award, and he went on to contribute to high-profile magazines including Vogue, W and Harper's Bazaar. He has also shot advertising campaigns for clients including Barney's, Comme des Garcons, Gap and Yohji Yamamoto.
