"Mostly black and with Japanese tomboy airs" are the words used to describe the Comme des Garcon's line for the Swedish fashion chain, H&M.
Early this November, expect a range of tailored jackets (many deconstructed), along with cropped pants, baggy shorts and a variety of skirts in stretch wool. There will also be plenty of polka-dot knits in jersey or merino wool and a "showpiece" coat-dress decorated with Victorian ruffles.
When H&M announced the partnership this past April, they promised kids' wear would be included, but Rei didn't feel like it, so that was the end of it. But don't worry - accessories and a unisex perfume with notes of cedar and patchouli will also be available.
