Sex and the City Cocktails.

The day is finally here!!! Most of us will be viewing the Sex and the City movie tonight and over the weekend. Before that happens, you'll should have a cocktail. We have four special recipes, each one,is named after each character. So drink the cocktail that best suites you and be Fabulous?



MIRANDA

2 oz SKYY Vodka
3/4 oz Campari
2 oz Pomegranate Juice
1 oz Triple Sec
Squeeze of Lemon

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled stem less flute. Garnish with a large Lemon twist.



CHARLOTTE

2 oz SKYY Vodka
3/4 oz Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur
3/4 oz Amaretto Almond Liqueur
3/4 oz Godiva Dark Chocolate Liqueur
1 oz Half and Half

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with shaved Chocolate.



SAMANTHA

2 1/2 oz SKYY Vodka
1 1/2 oz Cabo Wabo Añejo Tequila
1 oz Simple Syrup
1 oz freshly squeezed Lime Juice

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Rim glass with mixture of salt and small amount of white pepper. No garnish.

CARRIE (aka THE NEW COSMO)

2 oz SKYY Vodka
1 oz Triple Sec
2 oz Mango Nectar
1/2 oz freshly squeezed Lime Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with slice of dried Mango.

Sex and The City Week.

The Countdown has began.  The only movie that all of us have to see will be in theaters May 30th.  So we have four days to prepare.

Sex and the City, series originally aired on HBO in 1998, for a total of six seasons. Set in New York City, the show focused on four female characters, the fashion and its industry due in large part to celebrated stylist Patricia Field. The sitcom tackled socially relevant issues, often dealing with women in our society, and how changing roles and definitions for women affected the characters.

This Friday, the movie will show us what our girls have been up too, since the series ended in 2004.
Will Miranda and Steve live happily ever after in Brooklyn?
Will Charlotte finally get pregnant and be able to have a baby?
Can Samantha be a good girl and faithful to Smith.
Carrie and Mr. Big, husband and wife?

Hopefully the movie will be able to answer all those and questions and more,but until then, we'll take you guys down memory lane, and remind everyone why we love each of the girls so much.

Murakami commands you to......

For those who haven't be able to go and see the Murakami exhibit yet , what are you waiting for? Just wanted to give a glimspe of what you'll are missing . There are about two floors, of paintings, animated characters that range from 3 to 5 feet, short animated movies, comics and a small Louis Vuitton boutique in the museum, selling the signature Murakami bags.

Architect Neil Denari has conceived a form that bends and folds into its tight surroundings. The challenge is a 40 foot wide lot near Tenth Avenue which is partly covered by the High Line. The condo will rise up on one side and then slightly cantilever over the old elevated railway bed.

Glass will reveal structural crossbeams that look almost like tiebacks holding everything together against gravity. The condo will include nine floor-through apartments ranging in size from about 1,900 square feet to 2,600 square feet. The penthouse duplex unit will have 3,700 square feet and a terrace. A ground floor duplex will also be available.
