Alexander the Great.

Mr. McQueen never ceases to amaze us. His new flagship store on Melrose Ave takes us into his fantasy world again, and one of his usual partners in crime helped created it.

William Russell and Alexander McQueen have a history together because of the original three flagship stores in London, Milan and New York.

The Los Angeles store is unique because of one big thing, "Angel of the Americas." It is a large sculpture suspended through the skylight of the store. Designed by Robert Bryce Muir, this 9-foot anatomically correct male sculpture is made from pure stainless steel and can be seen from the outside as well as the inside of the store. Drive-by art on Melrose Ave, that's a treat!
