Wormholes, MRI scans and dead bodies. All these things inspire artist Jen Stark, who is known for creating hypnotic paper sculptures. Having a sister who is a doctor, Stark had sectional anatomy textbooks to look through. "Seeing the human body displayed like a flip book was grotesque, yet mesmerizing," says Stark.

Jen doesn't use software or complicated hardware to create her pieces. She sketches her designs and then slices, using her X-Acto knife. This is one woman with a knife you should definitely stay away from.
