Spotlight: Alix Malka.
Parisian-born Alix Malka began his career in the fashion world in 1985 working with Thierry Mugler. Today he is one of the most asked for photographers by international magazines.
He draws inspiration from designers John Galliano and Alexander McQueen, and filmmakers like Pedro Almodovar and John Waters. Malka's work shows his obsession with color and his unique and sophisticated styles which are apparent in these photographs.
If only we could all look this good underwater. Here, the lovely poses of Marcelina Sowa are captured with delicately swirling fabric and hair in a way that can't be done on land. The pictures were taken for a Japanese magazine, Numero Tokyo.
