China Shows the World.

Opening Ceremonies Fireworks

Last week, we gave you'll some info about the Olympics: the architect, the uniforms, and the fashion inspired by this event that brings the world together every four years. Now, the people of China have the spotlight.

All of the negative talk about the climate affecting the athletes and the country's politics was put to rest when the Chinese showed the world their history, beauty and unity. Good Luck topping this in 2012 London!

The largest LCD screen in the world was created for the the Beijing Olympics.

The marathon shopping kicks off with a party on August 8, allowing fans of the Games to pick up limited edition, Olympic-themed goodies such as T-shirts designed by Kim Gordon and sneakers from Nike Sportswear.
It's ok if you are not a fan, still drop by for late night scrabble matches, music and snacks. Portions of the sales will be donated to Chinese earthquake relief.
