Got Purple On My Mind.
When it comes to a year round color, purple is one to keep. The color of royalty looks fabulous when it has to share the spot light with grey, black, white, or even brown.
So whether you choose bright grape, earthy plum, lavender or eggplant, there’s definitely a hue for you.

Designer Profile: Mink Pink.
The story began in early 2005 when MINKPINK hit the Australian fashion scene. The team behind this brand took influences and inspiration from high-end designers, street styling and vintage pieces, working hard to produce fresh and flattering garments that are fashionable, affordable and full of the signature MINKPINK personality.
Still going strong four years later, MINKPINK, fueled by word-of-mouth and reputation, is stocked in over 400 boutiques throughout Australia and New Zealand, and recently the brand has branched out internationally to Japan, Canada and America, of course.
Each piece is designed with the everyday fashionista in mind - aiming to be fit friendly and just plain fabulous!

Item of the Week: Janna Conner Skull Earrings.
With all the pirates on the oceans and ransoms reaching up to 100 million, I'm quite sure some of us wouldn't mind becoming one. But if the news of pirates being killed and sea sickness has deterred you, a pair of Janna Conner's skull earrings will let your inner pirate out.
Don't be afraid of the skulls, these earrings are great with a floral silk dress or a white t-shirt, jeans and booties. A little toughness goes a long way. Arrrgh.

An Era To Love.
Most of us who watched “The Notebook” couldn’t help but fall in love with the clothes along with the story. Set in the 1940s, this time of fashion has the classic look that never really goes out of style.
SuperLuckyCat has given us this look revised to fit the modern woman. To make you feel a bit more special, each piece is one of a kind, so you will be the only one wearing their special rompers or shirts in a specific print.

Shoes For Lovely People.
It’s modern with good, old-fashioned roots. This is the best way to describe Shoes for Lovely People, a brand that plays with the trends at reasonable prices. The line includes an assortment of styles — conical heels, mini cork wedges and silver leather flats — all of which have padding on the soles making them comfortable.
For those of us that already own a pair of shoes from this brand, we know getting another pair will be a wise idea for spring and summer.

For some of us, wearing animal prints makes up feel sexy, empowered, while others think only the animals should wear their own look and not humans.
Some designers managed to create pieces that could make most of us happy. Yumi Kim, for one, inserted solid colors and small details within the animal prints, making their blouses and dresses easier to wear to work or to play.

Designer Profile: Christopher Deane
Christopher Crawford and Angela Deane go way back, to the University of Florida to be specific. After working in the fashion industry and art world, the duo decided that two heads were better than one and started collaborating on various business ventures, including a boutique.
Experience at their store, No. 436, taught Crawford and Deane fit and silhouette. They also met a wonderful pattern maker who works with them to this day. In 2002, the contemporary line Christopher Deane was born.
Christopher Deane is known for their graceful and distinctive dresses, tops and skirts with subtle feminine detailing. Being one of New York's most admired young labels, the brand enjoys an immense celebrity following and has achieved extensive coverage in multiple top fashion magazines including Elle, Flaunt, Nylon, Lucky, WWD and W. About Lewis Cho
Working at Anna Sui brought these creative minds together and years later and several collaborations after meeting, they launched Lewis Cho. Many people think that this brand belongs to a man, maybe that was the marketing approach Annie Lewis and Helen Cho had in mind.
These two women launched their line in 2005, and have given us a bold feminine line of jersey top dresses and skirts.
The modern and clean collection is inspired by the fashionable friends of the designers and attracts the metropolitan woman who seek sexy pieces that are versatile.

Beating the Winter Blues!
We’re back here, ladies, deep freezing temperatures that keep us inside and turn some of us into slugs. Don’t let the Winter Blues get you down.
We have some remedies to get you in a cheerful mood again: some great leggings that will make you stand out above the rest, in a good way.
Canvas heels that look great with leggings or tapered jeans and pieces of jewelry that are perfect with any look all year round.
I know our remedies aren’t what the doctor would typically order, but anything to brighten up the spirits will be advised by any specialist.

The New York City uniform for our girls always has black in it. Some of us can't go without wearing black during these winter months. Let's step away from the all black look a bit with some geometric prints in black and white.
Our tunics go great with a belt and tights. The spaghetti strap dresses have pockets, and the ruffle tops have detailed zippers in the back which look great with skinny jeans and tons of jewelry.
